The burberry cashmere scarf
Cashmere scarves are an integral part of Burberry’s heritage, along with its association with the family-run factory in Scotland that produces them – a collaboration that dates back to 1900.
Going through a process of more than 30 different stages, cashmere is woven on traditional looms, washed with local spring water and carefully combed with a teasel tree using techniques passed down through the generations.
The Check Cashmere Scarf debuted in the 1970s and has become one of Burberry’s most famous accessories to this day.
