MONTBLANC LEATHER COLLECTIONS: FALL/WINTER 2024

An infusion of vibrant seasonal colors and new shapes contributes to the distinctive style identity and smart functionality that have come to define Montblanc signature leather collections. A playful Happy Holidays capsule, complete with irresistible illustrations, is an ode to the magic of an Alpine winter wonderland. The eponymous Meisterstück collection sees the addition of detailing that evokes the Maison’ origin in the culture of writing and its connection to the mountains, while the Soft Collection capsule celebrates this year’s centenary of the Meisterstück with design codes inspired by the writing icon.

Happy Holidays Capsule  

The majestic peak of the Mont Blanc mountain and the snow-covered landscapes of the Alps are the inspiration for Montblanc’s Happy Holidays capsule, which transports its owners to a winter wonderland. Featuring enchanting illustrations of a winter scenery, the four-piece capsule blends black embroidery on ivory canvas, creating an effect reminiscent of ink on paper. Each piece is further finished with leather detailing inspired by the shape of a fountain pen’s nib.  

The Happy Holidays capsule consists of a spacious Tote Bag suitable for winter getaways, a Pouch fitting key essentials, and a Pen Pouch for protecting your Montblanc writing instrument throughout your journey. The leather goods selection is complemented by a  MY4810 cabin trolley, featuring the winter landscape printed on ivory colored olycarbonate and on the inside, smart storage solutions for easy packing. 

Meisterstück Mini and Regular Document Case in Cyprus blue and Mini Messenger in Russet 

The Meisterstück writing instrument and its recognizable design codes continue to inspire its namesake collection in brilliant, smooth leather. Combining Montblanc’s writing culture heritage with a brand DNA rooted in the mountains, the Maison introduces a new metal closure that subtly mirrors the silhouette of the Mont Blanc mountain, elevating it beyond functionality with sleek, modern contours. The mountain closure is featured on a Briefcase in black as well as a Messenger in both black and two new fall shades: a rich red russet color and a deep turquoise Cyprus blue color. 

A selection of existing Meisterstück shapes have also been reinterpreted in these two new fall shades: russet and Cyprus blue colors adorn the Mini Messenger, while the Document Case in regular size and mini size feature an eye-catching sfumato version of the Cyprus blue color, showcasing a dark-to-light gradient effect that mimics ink diffusing onto paper. The collection is completed with an assortment of small leather goods such as wallets, card holders and pen sleeves in the russet and Cyprus blue sfumato colors. 

Soft 24/7 Bag in Dark Pool, Pochette in Black and Mini Bag in Dark Pool 

Recognizable for its multi-use shapes and the comfort provided by supple leather, the Soft Collection’s design codes are similarly inspired by the Meisterstück writing instrument, the fountain pen’s nib referenced in various leather details such as the nib-shaped leather zip pullers.  

To pay homage to the centenary of this icon of writing culture, Montblanc introduces a Soft anniversary capsule featuring a distinctive fountain pen nib-shaped metal closure, transforming each design into a love letter to craftsmanship, where ink and artistry meet on soft leather. The anniversary capsule in a timeless black consists of a Tote with three open interior pockets for easy organization, a sleek Messenger that acts as a daily companion, a versatile Pochette for carrying essentials, a Continental Wallet with various inside compartments and space for up to 12 credit cards, and a more compact Mini Wallet to hold up to 6 credit cards.

Classic designs from the Soft Collection have also been reimagined in the season’s new hero shade, a blue-hued dark pool color. Such shapes include the 24/7 Bag where organizational compartments become part of the design on the outside of the bag, the Mini Bag transforming a Montblanc writing instrument into an accessory with its external writing instrument holder, and a Pochette that can be carried under the arm, by hand, or nestled within a larger bag. Meanwhile the assortment of small leather goods sees the arrival of a new wallet design with a removable card holder in the season’s shades, rust and dark pool colors.
